Privacy policy

Last updated:

This policy explains how PromptSpark.ai collects and uses information when you visit our website, use our service, or connect an external account.

Information we collect

We collect the account and contact details you provide, such as your name, email address, organisation, and demo or support requests. We store the projects, websites, prompts, content, and reports you add or create in the service.

We also collect technical information needed to run and protect the service. This can include IP addresses, browser details, login records, errors, and usage records.

How we use information

We use information to provide reports and features, manage access and billing, answer requests, maintain the service, and prevent misuse. We process account information to provide the agreed service, meet legal duties, and support our legitimate interests in security and service operation. Where consent is required, you can withdraw it.

AI features send the prompts, content, and relevant context needed for the requested task to external AI providers. Do not submit personal or confidential information unless you have authority to use it for that task. Results can contain errors.

Google account data

Connecting Google is optional. We request read-only access to Google Analytics and Google Search Console. We read account, property, and site identifiers and names, plus traffic and search reports. These can include page URLs, referral sources, visits, engagement, conversions, search queries, clicks, impressions, positions, countries, and devices.

We store selected property and site details, imported reports, and encrypted access and refresh tokens. We use this data to show traffic and search performance to authorised members of your account. This connection does not read Gmail or Drive files, or change your Google settings.

We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train general-purpose AI models. Our use and transfer of Google API data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Google reports are used for the connected reporting features. We share Google data with infrastructure providers only as needed to operate those features, or where necessary for security or legal duties. We do not transfer it to data brokers or use it for credit or lending decisions.

Who can access information

Authorised members of your account can access information according to their role. We use service providers for hosting, storage, communications, diagnostics, and requested AI processing. We share information only as needed for these purposes, to protect the service, or as required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Google data access by our team is limited to your permission, necessary security work, legal duties, or permitted internal use of aggregated data. Service providers may process information outside your country. Applicable data protection safeguards must apply to those transfers.

Storage and security

We use access controls and technical safeguards to protect information. Google access and refresh tokens are encrypted in the application database. No online service can guarantee complete security.

We retain information while it is needed to provide the service and meet legal, security, or record-keeping duties. Retention depends on the type of information and the reason for keeping it.

Disconnecting Google and deleting data

Use Disconnect Google in the app's integration settings to remove stored Google tokens and the linked Analytics and Search Console imports from the active application database. This does not delete the original data held by Google.

A connection record, including previously discovered property and site details, may remain after disconnection. Contact us to request removal of this information.

You can also remove access through your Google account connections. Removing access at Google stops future authorised access, but does not itself delete data already imported into the app. To request account deletion or other data removal, contact us below. Any copies in backups or records subject to legal retention may remain until the applicable retention period ends.

Cookies and diagnostics

We use Google Analytics on our public website and signed-in service pages to understand visits and use of the service. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as page visits, interactions, referral sources, and browser and device details. This website measurement is separate from the Google Analytics and Search Console accounts you choose to connect for reporting. See how Google uses information from sites and apps for details of Google's processing.

We use cookies to keep you signed in and support the service. We use Sentry for error monitoring and session replay diagnostics. These tools can collect browser, interaction, and technical details to help us find and resolve problems.

Your choices and contact

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to some uses. You may also contact your local data protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

We will update the date above when this policy changes. We will provide further notice and request consent where required for material changes.
